Sri Devaraja Mudaliar, a lawyer by profession was perhaps one of the
first few devotees recognising the greatness of the Maharshi.He maintained
the relationship with the sage as that of a father and child.His approach
was free,simple and spontaneous.He had no fear in questioning the
Bhagavan various problems whether trivial or profound.
Book Description
The popularity of this book is best illustrated by the fact that
it has gone into five reprints since it was first published in the
year 1968.
Devaraja Mudaliar, a close devotee of Sri Ramana Maharshi kept notes
of the events and conversations that took place in the Old Hall
of Sri Bhagavan. This was in the year 1945. The book covers a broad
spectrum of the humour, compassion and above all the Maharshi's
mighty spiritual status
